Citizen’s Police Academy

The Jackson Alabama Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy is a program designed to educate and involve community members in the daily operations of law enforcement.

The academy is a multi-week session that provides participants with an understanding of different areas in law enforcement, including criminal law, patrol procedures, investigations, and more.

The academy allows citizens to interact and learn from members of the police department, building relationships and trust between the community and law enforcement.
