The Jackson, Alabama Police Department hosts Women on Target events to provide firearm safety and education for women in their community.

These events are designed to teach women the basics of firearm handling, safe shooting, and proper storage.

Women can expect hands-on training and instruction from certified volunteers and law enforcement officers.

The events also create opportunities for women to network and connect with other like-minded individuals while learning valuable skills that can be used for self-defense or recreational purposes.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own firearms, but loaner guns are available for those who do not have their own.

The Women on Target events are an excellent way for women to gain confidence, knowledge, and experience in a welcoming and supportive environment.
